A design for student life - and a club I'm part of - the recently rebranded Swinburne Liberal Society - a centre-right political club.
With the old logo being outdated and as it carried on from the old club that was split from (because of registration), I mostly persuaded several club members to change so, especially something that reflects both the values and the institute (Swinburne) itself.
The final logo captures the terms 'technology', 'liberalism' and 'conservatism'. The gears are seven-edged, which represents the Southern Cross' seven-edged stars.
The Swine on the middle directly comes from the University's heraldry, looking rightwards to reflect the club's political orientation.
